Terms of Use
Terms of Use
01About these terms
These terms cover the QuantSuite apps — QuantPlot, QuantRecce and QuantCrew — and the QuantSuite website. By creating a plot, recording a recce, building a schedule or otherwise using an app, you agree to them.
If you're using QuantSuite for a company or production, you confirm you're authorised to accept these terms on its behalf.
02What QuantSuite is — and isn't
QuantSuite tools help you plan a rig, record a recce and organise a crew. They are planning, recording and administrative aids.
They do not replace qualified judgement, technical verification, site inspection, structural or electrical calculation, or any required safety procedure. Figures, drawings, specifications and generated documents are references to work from, not certified results.
03Beta software
QuantSuite is in beta. Features, calculations, layouts and stored-data structures may change, and errors or unexpected behaviour can occur.
Please keep your own independent copies of important production information and exports, and don't rely on QuantSuite as the sole store of critical records. Do report problems through the in-app feedback.
04Your responsibilities
- Independently verify important measurements, specifications, electrical information, weights, loads and rigging requirements against current manufacturer data before you order, build, rig, power or operate anything.
- Have rigging, electrical, structural, access and machinery decisions reviewed and signed off by appropriately qualified and authorised people.
- Check exports, labels, patch data, order lists, schedules and timesheets before they're issued, printed, ordered or used operationally.
- Only enter, access and share information — including other people's personal information — where you're authorised to do so.
05Your account
QuantPlot and QuantRecce use an optional account (a magic-link sign-in — no passwords), and you can use most of those apps without signing in, with your work stored on your device. QuantCrew requires an account: you are invited to it and sign in with an e-mail address and a password, with optional two-factor authentication.
Keep your sign-in details and your e-mail account secure; you're responsible for activity under your account.
06Acceptable use
Use QuantSuite lawfully and for its intended professional purpose. Don't misuse it, attempt to break or overload it, or use it to store or share content you don't have the right to.
07Your content and data
The plots, recces, schedules and other content you create are yours. We don't claim ownership of them.
You grant us the limited permission needed to store, process and sync that content so the app can work (see the Privacy Policy). The app's own software, design, libraries and branding remain ours.
08Fixture, manufacturer & reference data
Built-in fixture data, symbols, photometrics and other reference information are provided as planning aids and may contain approximations, manufacturer changes or data-entry errors. Always confirm against current manufacturer documentation. Manufacturer names and marks belong to their owners and are used for identification only.
09Availability, changes & updates
We aim to keep the apps available and improving, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service, and we may change, add or remove features. We may update these terms; if we make a material change we'll say so, and the in-app acknowledgement will ask you to review it again.
10Limitation of liability
Nothing here limits any liability that can't lawfully be limited — for example for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows: QuantSuite is provided on an “as is” basis as a planning aid, and we're not liable for losses that arise from relying on its outputs without the independent verification, professional sign-off and checks described in these terms. This is a reasonable limit for a professional tool used alongside qualified judgement — it is not a claim that we're never responsible under any circumstances.
11Ending your use
You can stop using QuantSuite at any time, and delete your account and content (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend access where these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken, or where we need to for legal or security reasons.
12Governing law & contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and disputes fall to the courts of England & Wales. A contact address will be published with the final terms.
