Q-01 · Lighting plots & patch

QuantPlot

Draw the rig on the grid, patch it from your own fixture library, and hand over the paperwork the floor actually wants.

  • Plots & rigging plans
  • Import your own fixtures
  • Patch, prep & load sheets
In-app captureQP-01 · The working canvas
QuantPlot in the browser — S60 SkyPanel sky arrays and a diagonal S360 run over a blueprint underlay, nine fixtures multi-selected with live weight and array controls in the right panel, and the running fixture count along the bottom.
QuantPlot's set-the-scale dialog — mark a distance on the blueprint and type the real-world measurement.QuantPlot's studio-stage picker — Pinewood, Shepperton, Elstree, Warner Bros. Leavesden, Longcross and Garden Studios, dropped to scale from official published dimensions.

Plot

Lay down a rig in minutes.

Drag a fixture onto the plan and it snaps to the grid. Build a row, mirror it, array it, and the whole rig follows. No menu-hunting, no drafting degree — just the plot, the way you'd sketch it on the floor.

  • Snap-to-grid placement
  • Mirror, array & duplicate
  • Opens in a second

Library

A library that already knows the kit.

QuantPlot ships with a built-in library of fixtures, machines and rigging apparatus — ready to drop straight onto the plan. Add your own items alongside them: your symbols, your codes, your stands and specials.

  • Built-in fixtures, machines & rigging
  • Add unlimited custom items
  • Sync your libraries across devices
In-app captureQP-03 · Fixture & rigging library
QuantPlot's Fixture and Rigging Library — soft panels from Creamsource, Arri, LiteGear, Prolights, Hudson and DMG with editable width, depth, weight, max wattage and DMX channels, an imported MA fixture library above, and magic-link sync below.

Fixture library

Bring your own fixture library.

Import your own custom fixture library straight from a grandMA2 export, then set each fixture to the right mode. The real channel footprints drive the patch — the addresses you hand over match the desk.

  • Import your own fixture library
  • Set the DMX mode per fixture
  • Real footprints drive the patch
In-app captureQP-04 · Patch heads
QuantPlot's Patch heads dialog — 4 selected groups, 56 heads; the S60 SkyPanel set to console Mode 1 at 12 channels with a DMX offset and a start of universe 21 address 1; heads ordered by selection or position; start universe, start address and address step below.

Paperwork

Patch sheets that travel all the way to the desk.

Set your own universes and channels, and QuantPlot generates a fully custom patch sheet to match. When the patch is locked it goes with you: grandMA2 patch XML straight into the desk, fixture labels onto A4 for the prep floor.

  • Your own universes & channels
  • Patch sheet PDF · grandMA2 patch XML
  • Fixture labels & rigging notes, print-ready

Loads

Weight and power, worked out as you plot.

QuantPlot keeps a running tally of the rig's weight and spreads the power across your phases as you build — so you can see where the load sits before the truck arrives, not after it's hung.

  • Running rig-weight estimate
  • Power balanced across phases
  • Spot heavy points & overloads early
In-app captureQP-06 · Weight & power, live
QuantPlot's selection tally — 3 items selected, 9 fixtures: 297 kilograms of lamp, 66 kilograms of rig.

Selection tally — kg & heads

QuantPlot's fixture count — 132 SkyPanel S60s and 18 S360s in the sky, two Vortex 24 machines, 152 units and their weights totalled.

Q-02 · Scheduling & labour

QuantCrew

Plan the rig and shoot schedule, track your core crews — then turn the whole run into a production-ready labour-days spreadsheet, gathered automatically from the schedule you already built.

  • Rig & shoot schedule
  • Core crews & labour list
  • Labour-days → production-ready Excel
In-app captureSpecimen dataQC-01 · The dashboard

Schedule

The whole run on one board.

Build the rig and shoot schedule side by side — pre-rig, rig, shoot and de-rig on one timeline the office and the floor can both read. Then print it A3 and pin it to the wall: the board is laid out to be read at arm's length, on paper, mid-job.

  • Rig & shoot schedule, side by side
  • A3 print-ready boards
  • Reads at arm's length on the wall

Crews & labour

Your people, in one pool.

Keep your core crews and line-ups in one place, backed by a labour list — the pool of people you actually call. Allocate them across the run and the board fills itself, so it's always clear who's on, where, and when.

  • Core crews & line-ups
  • Labour list — your people pool
  • Allocate across the whole run
In-app captureSpecimen dataQC-03 · Crews & seats

Labour-days · the headline

Your schedule becomes the cost sheet.

This is the heart of QuantCrew. Everything you've already built — the schedule, the crews, the dailies, the claw-backs — is gathered automatically into a labour-days sheet and exported as a production-ready Excel spreadsheet. No retyping, no late-night totting up: press export, send it to production.

  • Production-ready Excel export
  • Gathered automatically from schedule & crews
  • Allocation, tracking & claw-back — all counted
In-app captureSpecimen dataQC-04 · Man-days workbook
QuantCrew's man-days workbook preview — every crew's seats with placeholder rates and week-by-week decimals, crew totals, a gold production total row, and a by-department breakdown, ready to download as Excel.

Finances

See where the money lands.

A financial summary that builds itself from the board — labour totals, man-days and a blended £ per man-day, split by crew, location or department, week by week. Check the spend before production asks, and hand over the report card or the full Excel workbook when they do.

  • Whole-run & per-week summaries
  • Split by crew, location or department
  • Report card & Excel workbook

Q-03 · Recce capture & order lists

QuantRecce

Record the recce on site, then turn your scribbled shorthand into a clean order list automatically — learned and saved to your account, so it gets quicker every job.

  • Order lists from shorthand notes
  • Learns your shorthand per account
  • Power, access & rigging notes

Capture

Record the recce where you stand.

Walk the location with your phone and capture it as you go — the spaces, the power, the access, the rigging points. Notes land against the place they belong, not in a notebook you'll be decoding on the drive home.

  • Built for phones, on your feet
  • Power, access & rigging notes

Order lists

Your scribbles become the order list.

Type the shorthand you already use — 4x s60, 2 windup, 63a — and QuantRecce turns it into a clean order list automatically. It learns your shorthand and saves it to your account, so it gets quicker on every job.

Planning

Plan the space before the truck arrives.

Turn what you captured into a plan for the day — where the truck parks, where the power runs, what goes in first. The floor arrives already knowing the answers, and the day starts moving instead of starting with questions.

  • Plan the space in advance
  • Power & access answered early
  • Share it with the crew
